- Children up to the age of 6 travel for free if they are accompanied. The person who accompanies them must have a valid ticket and may take two children free of charge.
- Unaccompanied children between the ages of 6 and 15 pay half price for all hourly tickets, 24-hour tickets and 10-strip tickets. However, if the children are accompanied by their parents they travel for free (see families).
Specially in Graz: During the summer holidays children up to the age of 15 travel for free on all urban lines (zone 101).
Adolescents between the ages of 15 and 19 qualify for a discount of approximately 38% on all hourly tickets and 24-hour tickets in the Styrian network fare system.
They need photo identification for this.
Parents travelling together with their children in a public means of transport in Styria qualify for a family discount.
Pupils and apprentices
All children who attend a school or pursue an apprenticeship in Styria are eligible for a school season/apprentice pass for their journeys from and to the school/apprenticeship centre.
