The hourly ticket is the “one-off ticket” for public transport in Styria. Its duration of validity depends on the number of purchased zones and ranges from 1 to 6 hours.
Within this period, you can make any number of trips. You can continue every direct and interrupted journey until you arrive at your destination even if your hourly ticket has already expired.
Our tip: If you plan an outbound and inbound journey on the same route, it is advisable to buy a 24-hour ticket!
Which hourly tickets are available for whom?
Full-price tickets
For everybody aged 19 and above
50% discount tickets
- For children between the ages of 6 and 15
- For the disabled, blind persons and persons severely disabled by war
- For bigger dogs
38% discount tickets
- For adolescents between the ages of 15 and 19
- For parents accompanying their children*
- For senior citizens aged 65 and above**

20% discount tickets
For groups of six and more
Where can I buy my hourly ticket?
- In all city buses and regional buses from the driver
- In trams from the ticket vending machine
- In train stations (from the ticket counter or a ticket vending machine)
- In the Mobility and Sales Centre in Graz, Jakoministraße 1
- In the MVG Travel Agency in Kapfenberg, Wiener Straße 42
- In the Austrian Railways (ÖBB) ticket webshop or with the ÖBB ticket app
Note please:
In public transport vehicles in Graz you can only buy hourly tickets for zone 101; in public transport vehicles in Bruck/Kapfenberg you can only buy hourly tickets for zone 103!
