The 10-strip ticket is a cheaper ‘bulk’ version of the hourly ticket – a bit like a booklet of tickets – and must be purchased in advance. Its strips are worth 10 zones.
One or several persons can use it to travel in one or several zones in Styria. Before you start your trip you must cancel the necessary number of strips for each person. The duration of validity is determined by the number of zones you pass through (same as an hourly ticket).

Instruction
As the 10-strip ticket can be used by one person or by several persons at the same time, it is important to cancel the strips correctly.
Step 1: Find out first how many zones you will pass through during your journey. Always start with the prepaid voucher (each rectangular strip is your ‘voucher’ for a single trip through one zone) with the lowest number and cancel the strips in the direction of the arrow, proceeding from left to right. Count the number of prepaid vouchers (rectangular strips) you need for your journey (and those of any other persons you wish to pay for with your strip ticket) and fold back any prepaid vouchers you do not need so that they are not cancelled.
Step 2: Introduce the ticket – making sure that the prepaid vouchers you need to cancel face up – into the cancellation machine in the direction of the arrow until you hear the bell sound (or give the ticket to the bus driver / train attendant). The cancellation machine has now cancelled the first prepaid voucher (rectangular strip) facing up – and therefore at the same time all prepaid vouchers with a lower number.
