The School Student Ticket is the "free travel pass" for all school students who regularly use the network's lines to travel to school.
An excess sum in the amount of € 19.60 is payable for it for each school year.
- The tickets can be used by all students until the end of the month in which they reach the age of 24.
- Austrian family allowance payments must, furthermore, be received for them.
- The principal residence or school must be located in Styria.
- School students must travel to school at least four days per week. The school must possess public authorization.

Where is the School Student Ticket valid?
Within the Graz, Leoben/Trofaiach and Bruck/Kapfenberg tariff zonesThe School Student Ticket is valid in urban zones 101 (Graz), 102 (Leoben/Trofaiach) and 103 (Bruck/Kapfenberg) for the printed route only.
All available urban lines bearing one and two-digit numbers may be used on this route.Example: In Graz the ticket is valid between the main railway station and Lendplatz for bus lines 58 and 63 (whereby it is irrelevant if only one of the two lines is printed on the ticket)
The rest of Styria
In principle there are no restrictions here: all regional network lines may be used in the printed Tariff zones there – as well as all trains and regional buses with three-digit line numbers*.

From the region to an urban zoneAll regional modes of transport may be used when travelling with regional buses across the zone borders to Graz, Leoben/Trofaiach or Bruck/Kapfenberg, which travel from the neighbouring zone into these urban zones.
Example: Between Laßnitzhöhe and Graz these are the regional buses via Raaba and via Kainbach and the trains via Raaba.
